Build your Birding Skill Sanctuary Success Conservation Counts
Come bird with us at Aspen Corner! This location offers beautiful views and a chance to see some higher elevation birds near the end of migration.
Some species we hope to find include Northern House Wren, Hairy Woodpecker, Western Flycatcher, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Green-tailed Towhee, Brown Creeper, and Clark’s Nutcracker.
EVENT DETAILS
Date: Friday, September 19 2025 Time: 8:00am to 11:00am
Location: Aspen Corner Carpark. Use the following coordinates in Google Maps for exact location: 35°19'10.0"N 111°43'13.7"W
Meeting point: We will meet at the Aspen Corner parking area on N Snow Bowl Rd at 8am.
What to bring: Be sure to bring sunscreen, walking shoes, a hat, binoculars, and water. We will also have a few extra binoculars available for those who need them.
About the location: This location will be a shorter walk with slightly sloped trails, but the high elevation may be difficult for some and no bathrooms are provided.
