No, not these; they have no feathers

Northern Arizona Audubon will again run 4 Christmas Bird Counts (cbcs). Each cbc has a compiler that divides the area into sections and appoints a leader for each section. Then others are assigned to each team and the area is covered by birding all day. Everyone is welcome to participate – it is FREE! You can be a leader, or you can be on a team, or you can do a feeder watch – as in bird your yard. You do not need to be a good birder to be on a team. Most people will bird all day, but there are ways to only bird part of the day.

The schedule is as follows

Sedona CBC is Friday, December 17th with Rich Armstrong as compiler.

Jerome/Cottonwood CBC is Sunday, December 19th with Rob Gibbs as compiler.

Flagstaff CBC is Saturday, January 1st with Terry Blows as compiler.

Camp Verde CBC is Sunday, January 2nd with Kay Hawklee as compiler.

The compilers will begin to form teams in the last couple of weeks before the date. If they do not contact you, please contact them if you are interested in participating.
