Our mission: To engage people in appreciating and protecting birds and the places they need. |
Why Birds Need a Voice
Nearly 3 billion birds lost globally since 1970.
Over half of all U.S. bird species are in decline.
Nearly 50% of aridland bird habitat in the western U.S. lost since 1968.

Since 1972, Northern Arizona Audubon has protected birds and habitats across the region. Our MOTUS towers track migrating birds, while our sanctuaries—Bubbling Ponds, Kachina Wetlands, Sedona Wetlands, and Picture Canyon—provide safe havens for wildlife. Through bird walks, citizen science, and volunteer programs, we engage the community in conservation, ensuring Northern Arizona’s birds thrive. Join us and add your voice for birds.
