Birding Sedona and the Verde Valley
The Northern Arizona Audubon Society connects adults and children to their natural environment.
Founded in 1973, Northern Arizona Audubon is a leading non-profit engaging people in the enjoyment and conservation of birds and their habitats in the northern part of the state. We involve people through fun birding field trips, which are both local and regional. We also actively lead in habitat preservation of local birding hot spots such as Rio De Flag and Page Springs.
As part of our activities we hold monthly meetings in both Flagstaff and Sedona, which feature a wide variety of speakers talking about birds and other natural history topics. All of our meetings are open to the public.
We are a founding sponsor of the highly successful Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival held each year in Dead Horse State Park.
Northern Arizona Audubon is a fully independent 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. Taxpayer ID Number – 31-1742628
